Prov. 12:13 "An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble." Lying, deceit, gossip, slander and bearing false witness all lead to the perpetrator being exposed by the truth. The righteous never has to worry about being "exposed" or "found out" becuase their words are full of truth and h...onesty. It is better to live a life in truth than one of constant fear of having the truth eventually come out. Truth sets free and keeps you from trouble.
